In-kind Giving

Curriculum

Serving and investing in our communities is integral to the success of Apollo Group. Our curriculum, given in-kind to community-focused nonprofits, focuses on K-12 literacy, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), career exploration, college readiness, college success, workforce readiness and sustainability.

Some of Apollo Group’s in-kind curriculum options include:

  • Geology and Astronomy curricula, developed in partnership with University of Phoenix, are each structured in 8-session programs for students in 4th through 8th grades to develop and inspire science exploration.
  • Junior Achievement BizTown®, is a career education and exploration program that allows students to work in different fields within a simulated town, including business, criminal justice, education, nursing and technology.
  • Oakland Zoo Explorer’s Club interactive curriculum helps K-5 students understand the animal world—including their care, feeding, development and habitat. It includes a visit to the zoo, as well as interactive computer programs to reinforce learning. The Explorer’s Club curriculum recently earned two bronze awards in the Education and School/University categories of the Horizon Interactive Awards. The annual Horizon Interactive Awards honors the best in interactive media from around the world.
